in the Romanian survey a total of US$ 13.7 million in the last two years! The average cost of economic crime in Romania has nearly doubled since our last survey (from US$ 223,577 per company over a two-year period in 2005, to US$ 405,260 in 2007). |

the economic crimes to which they became victim in the past two years. |

While fraud remains intractable, most companies are confident that |

their control measures will limit their exposure to fraud in the future. |

| The survey interviewed senior representatives of more than 5,400 companies in 40 countries, including a number of leading companies within Romania and reveals that economic crime is universal, affecting companies of all sizes, on all continents and in all industries. |
