This discussion paper seeks to set out some of the current issues and concerns faced by Chief Risk Officers from a range of European and global banking groups.
We look at how risk management has continued to climb higher up the corporate agenda to become more integrated into all aspects of running the organisation.
In compiling the paper, we carried out a series of face-to-face discussions with banking Chief Risk Officers to gain an understanding of the issues they are currently facing and asked a number of questions including, "What are the risks the sector may face in the future?" and "How is your role evolving?".
