This is the tenth PricewaterhouseCoopers survey on banking in South Africa. As in the past, we continue this survey on ‘Strategic and Emerging Issues in South African Banking. This survey has been developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Dr Brian Metcalfe and builds on previous surveys.
New areas include:
- key sources of competitive advantage;
- separate identification of the important macro issues affecting banks’ operations in South Africa;
- developments with regard to consumer protection; and
