community*: help. inspire. change.

One person can make a difference. Working together as a team, 31,000 can help inspire change.

As an organization, we recognize that we have a social obligation to our local markets through intellectual, physical and financial support. Our people care about the communities in which they live and work. This is an important and distinctive element of pride at PwC—and it’s a direct result of the supportive, caring culture that we’ve built and are sustaining.

As a firm of individuals, we challenge ourselves to make a difference and into the communities where we are needed most. We bring a common purpose: to help inspire positive, lasting change through sustainable actions. Most of all, we believe that education is the foundation for community development as it provides growth opportunities for the young, advances future leaders and further develops the growing population of quality professionals who can support the increasingly complex business issues in the marketplace.

For the third year in a row, we supported our Month of Community Service program, where our 31,000 partners and staff served one day in their communities during the month of June. This year, our focus was around supporting youth and helping to develop them into the next generation of leaders for the marketplace. Our people raised over $215,000, volunteered in over 175 projects and donated over 60,000 work hours – and made a difference in our communities.
