Inclusion

Support. Recognition. Understanding. Acceptance.

PricewaterhouseCoopers is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can succeed in achieving his or her personal and professional goals.  An inclusive workplace enables us to embrace the diversity and richness of backgrounds and perspectives of our people, and to leverage their diverse talents to arrive at winning business solutions.

It’s easy to say that our personal lives shouldn’t affect our work. But in reality, it’s not that simple. Straight or gay, who you are and how you're able to interact with others has a direct relationship on your performance. An inclusive work environment where you can be open and honest about who you are enables all of us to perform at our best. At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), we are committed to creating the kind of environment where everyone can feel comfortable and confident being themselves.

Our leadership
Our Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Partner Advisory Board, the first of its kind in any of the Big 4, is made up of gay partners and professionals from PwC offices around the country. The Board represents a diverse range of tenure, professional and life experiences, and advises Firm leadership on the planning and implementation of GLBT initiatives. The group, who brings a unique and unified voice to diversity planning and strategy, meets quarterly to review the Firm’s progress in the GLBT area which has been tremendously successful.  Out & Equal awarded PwC the Corporate Workplace Award for Significant Achievement in GLBT Workplace Initiatives (2006) and, since 2006, PwC has received a 100% on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

"By appreciating and leveraging the richness of employees' differences, companies can achieve more innovative solutions. There is much to be gained from employees working together and seeing the same thing through different lenses. Teamwork leads to optimum execution through the integration of everyone's talents."

Tax Partner

"Our stock-in-trade is knowledge: advice, ideas, and opinions. To arrive at the innovative solutions our world-class clients expect from us, we need a supportive work environment that is inclusive, flexible and respectful, where individual differences are valued and leveraged."
