Karen Vander Linde is a Partner who leads the US People and Change Practice, and she is the leader of the PwC global People and Change network. Ms. Vander Linde has more than 25 years experience in change management, learning, and program management. During her 16-year history with PwC, she has managed multi-million-dollar learning and change management programs to support improvements in business performance efforts at the national and global level. She has designed, developed, and implemented learning programs that provided more than 35,000 days of training, plus global and regional e-learning delivery, in one year across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pac. She has led change management workshops for the top 2000 executives in a Fortune 5 company and driven change management initiatives that would impact 10s of thousands of employees.
In addition, Ms. Vander Linde is a skilled executive advisor and facilitator. She has worked at the C-Suite level to drive execution of new business strategies and associated restructuring, performance improvement, or cultural change efforts. Active in thought leadership, Ms. Vander Linde has had more than 25 speaking engagements in the last 7 years, and has been interviewed for television business series. In 2006, she sponsored a change survey of 133 top executives from US-headquartered multi-national companies and organizations addressing the drivers, challenges and most effective solutions for large-scale business change. She has produced professional publications, including a book entitled
Building high performance: Tools and techniques for training and learning, published by PwC and ASTD (formerly known as the American Society for Training and Development). She was member of the Board at ASTD from 1997 – 2000, and since then has served as a committee member and executive advisor.
