Safe Harbor privacy policy

As set forth in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Code of Conduct: "We respect the confidentiality and privacy of our clients, our people and others with whom we do business".

It is the policy of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) to follow the requirements of the US Department of Commerce Safe Harbor Program (Safe Harbor) with respect to all personal information transferred from the EU to the US (personal information) within the scope of its Safe Harbor certification. In addition, certain personal information may be subject to more specific privacy policies of PwC, which are also consistent with the requirements of the Safe Harbor Program.

For example:

  • Certain PwC Web sites maintain their own privacy policies that apply to personal information collected via those sites and these policies may be accessed through those Web sites; and
  • Personal information obtained from or relating to clients or former clients is further subject to the terms of any specific privacy notice provided to the client, any contractual arrangements with the client, and applicable laws and professional standards.
