Throughout his career, Colum has worked predominantly
with acquisitions, disposals and capital market transactions, including
some of the most high profile domestic IPOs for New Zealand companies
in addition to working with New Zealand companies raising capital overseas.
Colum has worked on many of the leading private equity deals in New Zealand
in addition to leading projects on numerous international and domestic
corporate transactions including recent deals in both India and China.
Leo is a Transaction Services Partner and
Assurance Leader for NZ, who specialises in due diligence for acquisitions,
disposals and initial public offerings.
He has advised on a large number of deals across a range of industries primarily in New Zealand and Australia.
Ian has provided a wide range of transaction services including financial due diligence (both buy and sell side), acquisition accounting, IPO listings, review of forecasts and projections and cross-border investigations.
Russell is a Director with over five years transaction service experience including two years spent in London where Russell completed a number of transactions in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. These transactions ranged from buy side deals for private equity firms and corporates, re-financing, IPO listings and a number of Vendor due diligence assignments.
Since returning to New Zealand Russell has been responsible for the development of the local vendor due diligence product and lead a number of large transactions.
John has extensive transaction experience working on both the buy and sell side and to a lesser extent, IPOs. His focus is on plain language translation of systems related issues having a bearing on the transaction. John brings the experience of 19 years as a systems professional to his M&A work.
John’s experience working in business, as a consultant and a solution provider/implementer enables him to bring a solid all round perspective to transaction due diligence and post deal implementation work.

Gary has worked across the Supply Chain for major organisations for the past 15 years. He has held senior operational roles with Games Workshop, the Co-op, Sainsbury's in the UK, Coles Myer in Australia as well as senior consultancy roles at Fujitsu in the UK and PricewaterhouseCoopers in New Zealand specialising in the review, restructure and rationalisation of Supply functions from point of source to point of utilisation.

Veronica is an HR professional with more than 20 years experience consulting to private sector clients undergoing change. She has some 10 years experience in the HR issues associated with M&A working in both New Zealand and Australia on post deal engagements for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Veronica has specialist strategic HR skills essential to capturing the benefits in post deal engagements including organisation design, workforce planning and management assessment.
Peter is the leader of the M&A taxation group within the New Zealand Firm, and specialises in due diligences and tax structuring for acquisitions, disposals, IPOs and other corporate restructures. He has advised on a wide range of transactions and industries.
Declan specialises in providing tax advice for all types of transaction, including purchaser/vendor due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, listing and initial public offers (IPO), demergers, securitisation, joint ventures/strategic alliances, private equity, model reviews, and tax structuring – inbound/outbound investment.
Mike is a partner in our mergers and acquisitions
tax group, specialising in tax due diligence and structuring for both corporate
and private equity clients. Mike has extensive deal experience having worked
in tax M&A, both in the UK and NZ, over the last seven years.
