Challenges and opportunities abound in interactive and digital media

The number of ways businesses can reach consumers is multiplying enormously. And this isn’t just because of the new communications devices on the market—it’s also because of the number of engaging ways each device can be used to convey and receive content. Television is becoming interactive; photo and video capturing on multimedia cell phones is practically the norm; and the Internet now has any number of social networking sites, online games and virtual worlds.

Almost every segment of the entertainment and media industry is shifting from physical distribution to digital distribution of content.
