International Automotive Conference
On 17 December, ASM Holding will host the seventeenth International Automotive Conference at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event will focus on current challenges and opportunities for the Russian automotive industry and long-term development plans on a national scale.
Stanley Root, Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, will speak at the event. Other confirmed speakers include representatives from the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade as well as top managers from major automotive companies.
Russia Oil & Gas Congress
8 – 10 December 2008, PricewaterhouseCoopers will sponsor the Russia Oil & Gas Congress, organized by the Terrapinn company, which will take place in Baltschug Kempinski Hotel in Moscow, Russia.
The event will focus on the most pertinent issues to further development of the Russian and CIS oil and gas industry.
The conference programme will cover the key issues facing Russian & CIS oil and gas producers: reserve replacement as critical challenge, E&P costs escalate, and new technologies, equipment and, most importantly, investment.
Main topics for discussion will be as follows: refining the tax system to increase oil exploration, developing Russia’s Arctic shelf and CIS offshore, liberalization of the domestic gas market and the importance of growing competition, investment attractiveness of small and mid-cap oil and gas producers, etc.
Opportunities for Development in the Ural Automobile Market
On 4 December, Expert-Ural magazine will organise a round table discussion entitled Opportunities for Development in the Ural Automobile Market: Auto dealers and their Strategy.
Taking place in Yekaterinburg, the conference will feature discussions on the dynamics of the Russian auto market, car assembly through 2015, new opportunities for dealers, customer preferences as well as development trends in the Ural Region’s auto market.
